a qualified nail technician with a passion for creativity and design. My love for nail artistry goes beyond just creating beautiful looks. I’m fascinated by the history of nails, the evolution of products, and how they’ve shaped the industry today.
With a fine art background, I love incorporating unique elements like flowers, shells, and even thread into my nail designs, along with intricate brushwork that brings each set to life. My journey into the beauty world started long before I officially trained. I remember attending a college fair in high school, admiring the beauty stalls, and wishing I could take every course they offered. Instead, I pursued studies in art, textiles, and surface pattern design, which now beautifully complement my work as a nail technician.
I am also fully qualified in Russian Manicure, a meticulous technique that focuses on precision, cuticle care, and achieving a flawless nail finish. This advanced skill allows me to provide clients with highly detailed and long-lasting manicures, adding another level of artistry and professionalism to my work.
Despite struggling to grow my own nails and not enjoying painting them as a teenager, I was always drawn to nail salons, probably overwhelming the technicians with my endless questions! My curiosity never faded, and after becoming an Ambassador for Tropic Skincare, I decided to study Beauty Therapy at college. Initially, I enrolled to master facials, but I quickly fell in love with manicure treatments and went on to study Nail Technology. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me, it’s going to be exciting, creative, and full of adventure!
When I’m not designing nails, I love sewing and playing video games like The Sims, LEGO: DC Super Villains, and the Horizon series. I’m also an avid baker, known for my cheese and onion pie and biscuits. In recent years, I’ve taken up quilting, which has been both fun and rewarding.
