In this creative session, you’ll learn how to cut, layer, and stitch fabric shapes to build beautiful appliqué panels, perfect for quilts, cushions, or wall hangings.
Bethany will guide you step by step through appliqué techniques, fabric placement, and neat finishing, while sharing tips on combining colours, prints, and patterns to create balanced and eye-catching designs.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with completed floral panels and the confidence to continue developing your appliqué skills at home.

Basic sewing kit (scissors, pins/clips, thread, seam ripper, etc.)

Sewing Machine Hire
If you need to use one of our sewing machines, please add Sewing Machine Hire (£5) to your booking when reserving your place. Machines are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

This workshop runs from 10am–4pm. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled in.
You are welcome to bring your own lunch, or purchase food from the on-site food truck. A selection of teas, coffee and water are available in the studio.
