Meet Bethany Rose
Bethany Rose is a textile artist who loves to create. With a fine art background, she skillfully blends her artistic skills with various textiles to create unique and captivating quilt patterns that appeal to both new and experienced quilters alike. Her ability to combine colours and textures adds an extra dimension to her designs, making them truly one-of-a-kind.
She has discovered improv quilting, which encourages her to experiment freely with different fabrics, bright colours, and textures without sticking to traditional patterns. This creative process leads to unique pieces that highlight her style and artistic journey, showcasing unexpected combinations and surprises that give quilting a new twist.
She finds the transformative process of cutting up fabrics and reassembling them into something new both fascinating and inspiring.
Bethany's work features detailed designs and a modern look, making her quilts both practical and artistic. Each quilt has its own story, showcasing her love for colour and texture. Her careful craftsmanship makes sure every piece is beautiful and strong.
Outside of her artistic pursuits, Bethany enjoys unwinding with video games such as The Sims, LEGO: DC Super Villains and Horizon: Zero Dawn. Additionally, she delights in baking, with cheese and onion pie and biscuits emerging as her specialities, much to the joy of those around her.
