Basic Sewing Kit

What to Bring

Please bring a small basic sewing kit to your workshop. This helps you get the most out of your session and keeps everything running smoothly.

Your kit should include:

• Fabric scissors (for cutting fabric only)

• Small scissors or snips (for threads)

• Pins or sewing clips

• Tape measure or quilting ruler

• Fabric marking pen or pencil

• Seam ripper (unpicker)

• Hand sewing needles

• Thread (neutral colour is ideal)

• Rotary cutter and cutting mat (optional but very useful for quilting workshops)

If you are unsure about any items, don’t worry, guidance will be provided during the workshop.
